Terms and conditions

When making your reservation, you agreed to accept the Uniform Conditions. The Uniform Conditions for the Hotel and Catering Industry (UVH) are the conditions under which hospitality businesses established in the Netherlands, such as hotels, restaurants, cafés, and related businesses, provide hospitality services and conclude hospitality agreements.

CANCELLATIONS

Wanneer een reservering voor logies is gemaakt voor één of meer individuen geldt voor annulering van die reservering het volgende:

INDIVIDUAL

If you have made a reservation at Gilded Ox Suites, the following cancellation conditions apply:

Cancellation up to 7 days in advance is free of charge. For this, we assume an arrival time of 3:00 PM (15:00). For example, if you have booked for arrival on July 8, you may cancel or reschedule your reservation with us free of charge until July 1 at 3:00 PM.

A cancellation is only valid as a cancellation when it has been cancelled by telephone or email and has been confirmed as a cancellation by the hotel via email.

These cancellation conditions do not apply to a booking placed through a third party. In the event of a cancellation in that case, you must contact the company where you placed the booking.


GROUP RESERVATIONS

Group reservations are reservations for more than 6 persons or 3 rooms.

  • A. In the event of cancellation more than 3 months before the arrival date, the guest is not obligated to pay any amount to the hotel establishment. 
  • B. In the event of cancellation more than 2 months before the arrival date, the guest is obligated to pay 15% of the reservation value to the hotel establishment. 
  • C. In the event of cancellation more than 1 month before the arrival date, the guest is obligated to pay 35% of the reservation value to the hotel establishment. 
  • D. In the event of cancellation more than 14 days before the arrival date, the guest is obligated to pay 60% of the reservation value to the hotel establishment. 
  • E. In the event of cancellation more than 7 days before the arrival date, the guest is obligated to pay 85% of the reservation value to the hotel establishment. 
  • F. In the event of cancellation 7 days or less before the arrival date, the guest is obligated to pay 100% of the reservation value to the hotel establishment.

The reservation value refers to the total reservation including overnight stays, breakfast, lunches, dinners, breaks, or other types of quoted and confirmed services provided by the hotel.

NO SHOW

In the event of a no-show, the customer is obligated in all cases to pay the reservation value.
